My Story
My story has always been about people. In setting up Resilient Mind Coaching, I intend on continuing this — helping others overcome challenges, build confidence, and being resilient in difficult moments. Over the years, I’ve seen how much difference the right support can make, whether it’s in sport, work, or everyday life.
Resilient Mind Coaching is my way of bringing together my experience in applied psychology, coaching, wellbeing, and research to create a space where people feel understood, supported, and equipped to move forward. It’s not just about improving performance — it’s about strengthening resilience, managing stress, and unlocking potential so that individuals can thrive in whatever they choose to do.
The foundations of Resilient Mind Coaching were built from my experiences of sport psychology, supporting athletes under intense pressure to perform. Very quickly, it became clear that success wasn’t just about talent—it was about mindset, resilience, and the ability to bounce back from setbacks.
My PhD in Psychology focused on understanding and reducing perfectionism in athletes, exploring how high standards and self-criticism can both drive and damage performance. This research gave me a deep appreciation of the balance between striving for excellence and protecting wellbeing — lessons that apply just as much to business and everyday life as they do to elite sport.
This journey has taught me that resilience isn’t a buzzword—it’s a skill set. One that can be learned, developed, and applied in every area of life.
Today, I bring this experience to corporate and education sectors, supporting professionals who feel stuck, burnt out, or at a crossroads. My goal is simple: to help people find clarity, restore balance, and step confidently into their next chapter.
With over a decade of applied sport psychology experience and a PhD focused on reducing perfectionism in high performers, I specialise in helping individuals and teams manage burnout.
Through evidence-based interventions, I support individuals and teams to build confidence, strengthen focus, and gain control under pressure — helping them to perform at their best with consistency and resilience.
